PURPOSE:To improve the backup method of a line and to quicken the method by processing content of a line connecting to each terminal equipment and a corresponding line as a file. CONSTITUTION:A local area network is provided with terminal equipments 11-14, 21, 22 and with a central processing unit 3 as a controller and connects to a console 4. The console 4 has files X, Y and Z. When the terminal equipment 12 is faulty and desired to be switched to a standby equipment 14 and the console 4 commands the changeover of the terminal equipment 12, a state transition table file X is referenced and a new state number (12) is selected based on a present state number (1) and a terminal equipment (C) desired to be switched and given to the file Y. Plural line group files included in the file Y are extracted by using the new state number (12) as a key and a required line data in the corresponding file Z is collected. The collected data is processed as a text and sent to a line switchboard. |
