<p>The testing concerns mainly those transmission paths and control elements or control processes which serve for transmission of charge pulses to subscriber meters. The registered meter state caused by processing of test pulses is followed by an acknowledgement signal transmitted to the testing station. When an exchange translation is engaged from the exchange side in connection with test pulses from the testing station (WZ), receivers (E, GI) in the respective exchange line process them, and a switching criterion (3st, gi) releasing a first acknowledgement is derived. Depending on this criterion and after finding the meter belonging to the required extension, a test element (P) is connected to the meter and replaces it. It transmits a further acknowledgement signal.</p> |
