<p>The roof covering securing equipment is for use with the beams of purlins of the supporting structure. It comprises a hook (3) fixed to one of the beam flanges (2), formed by a bar with a portion bent outwards and then inwards again to form a protrusion while at one end it is bent over (7,8), to fit round the beam flange. A hook piece (9) fits on the other and straight end of the bar (6) so as to engage with the flange on the opposite side. The protrusion accommodates the hook end of a further bar (11), whose other end passes through the covering and is screwed to accommodate a nut securing the covering in place.</p> |
