<p>The anchor is hauled up to deck level by a roller (6) set over the edge of the deck and fitted with a guidance jaw (8a) under the roller to turn the anchor shaft so that its cross-bar (2) rests across the roller. The jaws have sloping edges on each side so that the cross-bar is engaged as the anchor is pulled up. The jaws have a hooked profile to conform to the shape of the roller, and the sloping sides provide a pointed front and bottom so that the anchor shaft does not jam.</p> |
