Fabrics treated include cellulose triacetate, polyester, acrylonitrile, polypropylene and polyurethane, alkali metal hydroxide is preferably used in the print reserve, mixed fabrics of polyester and cellulose or wool may be printed using fibre-reactive dyes for the cellulose, fixation is preferably by a dry heat process Disperse dyes not containing carboxylic acid groups may be applied in the alkalinc print paste. |
