<p>The roof beam, for a tent-type framework, can be easily, quickly and safely fixed in place from the ground, without any need to climb the frame. It is fastened by two or more retainer pieces detachably engaging holder positions in rafters or other supports. One retainer piece (11) at least incorporates a hinge component (15) which combines with the holder position (14) concerned to form a flexible coupling for the roof beam (1). This can be a hook engaging in a hinge opening (28) in the holder position (14) with engaging shank and cross arm stem of equal length, and set on a connecting piece (17) fastened to the underside (8) of the roof beam.</p> |
