The wall element for a prefabricated building is designed to combine sufficient rigidity with both noise and heat insulation, and prevention of moisture and condensation formation on the inside. It is made up from four layers, all internally interconnected - an inside one of pumice stone or other light material (a), centre load-bearing component of heavy concrete (b), outside one of insulating panels (c), and final protective layer (d). The inside layer provides breathing capacity for favourable indoor atmosphere, together with good acoustic effects, and can be nailed or drilled as required. The protective layer is weatherproof and impervious to impacts.
|
