PURPOSE:To prevent stagnation of electroyte, to decrease sharply the adherence of impurities on the ion exchange membrane, with resulting control of increase in voltage, by making grooves in the vertical direction on the surface of electrodes which contact with ion exchange membranes standing between electrodes of a vertical electrolytic cell. |
