<p>PURPOSE:To keep off the dissipation of engine noise as well as to abate a noise level by providing both upper and lower bodies, an engine cover and an excavator, and setting up an air distributing duct and an exhaust expansion chamber in the engine cover at the cooling air downstream side of an engine. CONSTITUTION:Each of crawler type travel gears 17L, 17R is set up in a part of a lower body 5, projecting a blade 20 from this lower body 5. Then, a swivel base bearing 18 is set up in the lower body 5, and an upper body 2 is rotatably mounted on this bearing 18, while an excavator K fitted with a bucket 19 at the tip is set up in a front end of the upper body 2. In addition, an engine cover 1, whose front top is set down to a seat S, is installed in a rear part of the upper body 2, and an air-cooled engine E, a hydraulic fluid tank 16, a fuel tank 15 and a battery or the like are set up inside the engine cover, while an air distributing duct 4 is installed at a cooling air downstream side of the engine E, and an exhaust expansion chamber 3 is formed in the upper body 2 beneath this air distributing duct 4.</p> |
