The vehicle accommodates invalid, handicapped in the lower limbs, in a standing position and has a chassis with a propulsion unit, and an adjustable bracket carrying components (117, 141) supporting the invalid's body. It can have a low-level platform for the feet, also two longitudinal members bent at the forward ends to form a rigid strut assembly, while the rear ends carry the travel wheels. The strut can be shaped to accommodate the propulsion unit, and the rear wheels can be carried in low-level brackets with smooth outer surfaces. The platform can be used to reinforce the mechanical strength of the chassis, and the longitudinal members can have supporting brackets for a battery. |
