The cylindrical cable clamping part is rotatable in a clamping frame and has an actuating aperture at one face side. The clamping part has two clamping surfaces on the cylinder shell, which protrude over the cylinder proper. Outside the cylinder is a cable inserting aperture in the clamping frame, the cylinder longitudinal direction and the cable inserting aperture being parallel. Spaced discs (17, 18) form the clamping surfaces with an elastically deformable band in between. Pref. the two ends (25, 26) of the band are held by a pin (24) penetrating through the discs. The band may be laid round a smaller radius in the starting clamping region than in the end region in relation to the spiral shape of each disc.
