The electro-mechanical pressure transducer with high indicating accuracy consists of a flexible diaphragm (1) whose movement is transmitted via a plunger (2) and lever (4) the end of which carries the moving contact of a change-over switch (5, 6). The fixed contacts are carried on a spring-loaded lever (8) whose adjustable set-screw is in contact with the inclined face of a sliding plate (10). The plate carries a pointer (19) and is displaced longitudinally by an actuator arm or feed screw (12) driven by a reversible DC electric motor (11). The motor direction of rotation, and thus the pointer's direction is controlled by the change-over switch contacts and the centre-tapped DC source (16, 17).
