PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To also transmit a voice with only an existing video signal line without necessitating an exclusive signal line and also to realize the audio output of high quality by transmitting an audio while replacing a video with the audio in the non-display period of the video. SOLUTION: A blanking period discriminating part 6 and a blanking period discriminating part 14 discriminate the non-display period of the video based on the blanking period of a horizontal scanning and the blanking period of a vertical scanning from a horizontal synchronizing signal and a vertical synchronizing signal to output it as a blanking period signal. A voice control part 3 receives the supplying of the blanking period signal from the blanking period discriminating part 6 to recognize a blanking period, that is, the non-display period to the CRT 5 of the video and outputs a parallel digital audio signal in the non-display period and a parallel-serial conversion part 7 converts the parallel digital audio signal into a serial signal to output a serial digital audio signal. Then, the audio signal is transmitted while a red signal is replaced with the audio signal in the non-display period of the video by a voice-to-video changeover part 11 and it is received in the non-display period by a voice-to- video changeover part 15 to be reproduced. |
