Duck-board element for artificial ski slopes - is square, blow moulded plastics, hollow body with central opening and corrugated connecting tubes at corners

A duck-board is assembled from a number of square elements having sides of square tubular form. The element has a square central hole and each corner is fitted with a connector. The connectors are corrugated tubes with the dimensions so chosen that the connectors fit inside the connectors of adjoining elements. When the elements are assembled they form a chess board pattern of alternate elements and blank spaces. The completed duck boards can be used as an underlay for artificial ski slopes. The elements can be made of plastics by the blow moulding process and are cheap to produce.
