A central heating system operated to adapt to the time of day and/or the time of year, alters the predetermined time intervals. After a second set of predetermined time intervals, the heating is cut off and if a predetermined support temperature differs from the normal temperature the ambient temperature is controlled by comparison. During the second time intervals, the heating is reversed so that the normal temperature is reached as quickly as possible. In cold external conditions, the support temperature is raised, and is controlled from two fixed points. For outside temperatures which require the maximum heating up during the first time intervals, the support temperature is adjusted to the estimated normal temperature.
|
