摘要 <p>1497925 Weighing conveyer MASCHINENFABRIK RIETER AG 4 March 1975 [8 March 1974] 8884/75 Heading G1W [Also in Divisions B8 Dl and G3] A system for weighing a layer of fibre material for a spinning machine comprises a pair of pivotally mounted weighing platforms 13, 14 connected to a load cell 17, a thin, highly flexible, endless belt 10 for transporting the fibre layer over the platforms, and roller pairs 6,6', and 7,7' for delivering the fibre layer to and removing it from the belt, the sides of the belt being connected to two endless driving belts 38 travelling at the speed of travel of the fibre layer. A fibre layer is formed on support 5 by roller pair 3,3' and roller pairs 3,3'; 6,6'; and 7,7' and the belt drive roller 9 are all driven from the same motor 23. Belt 10 is a woven seamless polyester belt cemented to toothed belts 38. Each platform 13, 14 is mounted on a spindle 30, 31 respectively, which is pivotably mounted on a frame 33 by means of a pair of crossed flexure strips at each end. The adjacent ends of the platforms are connected to the transducer by angle members (34, 35) and spring steel wires (36, 37) Fig. 2 (not shown). The output of the load cell 17 is multiplied at 19 by a signal from a tachogenerator 24, and the output signal representing the rate of flow of the fibre is compared at 20 with a desired valve set at 21. The comparator 20 is connected to the motor speedcontrol 22, and the speed of motor 23 is controlled to produce the required rate of flow.</p>
