<p>A gas burner is supplied from a bulk sewage tank containing a liquid such as liquid butane through a line by gravity. Immediately ahead of the burner is a device to vapourise the liquid so that it is immediately ready to enter the burn-as a gas. The butane is stored in the tank at a liquid formation temperature which is near ambient temperature, or above it, at a given pressure. Thus at a pressure of one bar, the temperature of the liquid is 25 deg.C. Part of the liquid may be transformed into gas inside the storage tank.</p> |
