A four channel video colour display unit provides a facility for continuous monitoring of input parameters to produce a graphical or alpha numeric display in colour according to information held in store. The analogue inputs are converted to digital form are transported over a central processor. The outputs are multiplexed into a main memory. An interface unit provides continuous synchronisation of stored data and controls transmission to the display. Information may also be entered in from a teletype linked to an interrupt circuit. A control module provides the correct sequence for transfer of information held in store to the display.
