<p>System for generating dry compressed air includes an electrically driven compressor and a pressure vessel divided into three chambers. The lower chamber (I) has an outlet for sepd. condensate, a dust filter and an adsorption medium for water vapour. The middle chamber (II) is sepd. from (I) by a partition contg. a non-return valve and a nozzle. The upper chamber is divided from (II) by an intermediate partition contg. a non-return valve. Used for "instrument air" on small plants and esp. for vehicles, ships etc. The system is compact and reliable as it contains few electrical circuits or moving parts. Due to its small surface area having a few extension, heat losses are low and thermal regeneration of the adsorbent is efficient.</p> |
