The tightening ring (1) is furnished wth a clamp which has two bases (4a) and (4b) each connected to the opposite ends of the ring. Each end of the bases has a hinge which supports a lever (2) on one side and a connecting bar (3) on the other. The connecting bar joins the lever (2) to the opposite end of the ring. The base on the side of the lever has a stud (5) with a head (X) made from a shaped sheet of material. The head (X) fits in the hole (6) on the clamping lever (2) and prevents it from springing open.
