A pencil made in the form of monolithic nonseparable pivotal housing from wood, along axis of which an open-end hole is made for positioning in it of fixed graphite rod. The preliminarily dried branches of trees or bushes with bark on the surface of cylindrical form cut off for required length with retention of natural surface roughness are used for the housing.
