Motor driven driving unit for activating a spraying pump mounted on a storage container. The driving unit consists of an electric motor (7) and a reduction gearbox (6) and an eccentric (4) in an attachment housing (11) and is so detachably mounted on the storage container (1) that the eccentric (4) is positioned directly over spraying head (3) of a hand spraying pump (2). The detachable mounting of the attachment housing (11) on the storage container (1) is achieved by a bayonet joint (15/15). In one part of the attachment housing (11) is located an interchangeable source of current (8). The contacts of the current source (8) project outwards so that they can be connected to charging equipment.
