<p>The apparatus for disinfecting soils with steam comprises a metal cloche (1) on which is mounted a steam-generating boiler (2), the steam being led from boiler (2) to cloche (1) by a tube. The steam boiler (2) comprises water tubes, and a demountable heating body (7) carrying a vertical oil or gas burner (10). The tube (17) extends through the interior of the boiler (2), and a second tube (171) extends externally of the boiler (2). The base (6) of the boiler (2) is fixed by bolts to the plate (3) forming the top wall of the cloche (1). The cloche top wall may be formed at least partly by the base (6).</p> |
