The casing consists of a stiffener (10) in the shape of an inverted U, slotting onto the top horizontal cross piece (12) of a prefabricated panel. The sides (16, 18) of the stiffener end in lengthwise hems (20, 22) turnout outwards and upwards, in the form of a duct. The casing also incorporates a U shaped section (24) to be fixed to the ceiling (26) along its central surface (28). Two sides hang down (32, 34) vertically and are spaced apart by a distance greater than those between the sides (16, 18) of the stiffener. The section (24) has two inside arms (36, 38) starting from the central surface (28) diverging downwards and towards the vertical sides (32, 34). Two lengthwise and parallel plates (40, 42) are placed between the stiffener (10) and the section (24).
