<p>Coated fabrics are made by coating a textile fabric, in which at least the warp is composed of crimped fibres, on >=1 side with a plastisol which does not contain an adhesive agent. The fabric base may be woven, non-woven or knitted and the coating is pref. of a PVC plastisol. Used of a crimped fibre substrate material gives excellent anchorage of the plastisol coating to the fabric, and the prods. have good resistance to tearing. The coated fabrics are useful e.g. in furniture, luggage, car upholstery, tents, interior panelling, tarpaulins, flexible containers, etc.</p> |
