Insulation consists of sheets of polymer foam with elastic layers at their edges which are laid close up to the container wall and, in particular, are glued together into the sheets, a hole is passed through the corners or interfaces between the adjacent sheets of insulation after they have been glued together parallel to their edges, an elastic insulation under compression is forced into the holes and is firmly bonded to the adjacent insulation. The system provides insulation at the corners of the sheets used and also absorbs thermal movements. |
