Suitable cores may be ferromagnetic, e.g. magnetic oxides, Fe, Co, Ni, steel, alloys of Cu-Ni-Fe. Such a coated material may be prepared by immersing the core material in a 0.1 to 10% dispersion or solution of the fluoropolymer in an organic solvent, separating the coated particles and heating above the melting point of the polymer. |
