The invention relates to a front headlight (10) for a motor vehicle, comprising a housing (30) including upper and lower anchors for attaching the headlight to a body structure (18) of the vehicle. The anchors comprise a lower anchor point (40) which is integral with the housing (30) and which is shaped to be inserted directly into a corresponding rigid portion (18B) of the structure for the lower attachment of the headlight (10) to the structure. In addition, the lower anchor point is frangible so as to break in the event of a frontal impact with the headlight. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle comprising such a headlight.
