The sugar beet pick-up rotor cleaner comprises an arcuate upper bar (5) carried by vertical posts and provided with resilient vertical bars (6, 7) the lower ends (8) of the bars (7) being bent horizontally. The bent-over ends (8) lie in a plane parallel to the rotating grille (1). The orientation of the ends (8) may be adjusted. The ends extend beyond the upper bar (5) and are connected to each other at their upper ends by freely pivoted cranks. The end crank is connected to a control lever. The vertical bars (7) are mounted on the upper bar (5) by pivots.
