The multiple socket holder (1) consists of a box shaped lower section (14) and a cover (13) with a number of sockets (10) mounted on a baseplate (15). There is sufficient vacant space for the excess lengths of cable attached to a number of plugs (7). The socket holder forms a junction for a number of electrical appliances (2-5). The sockest are fitted at the centre of the lower section. There is a ring-shaped air scoop between the sockets and the side-walls (16). This is intended for the connecting cables (L2-L5). The excess cable is wound around a pin. The holder is intended for use in offices where several electrical units such as desk lamps, computers, electric typewriters, radios, dictating machines and electrical clocks are all in use at the same time.
