PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot layout having a high degree of freedom and being efficient.SOLUTION: A robot system comprises: a work table mounting thereon a workpiece; and a robot device. The robot device comprises: a base part 1; and an arm part 2 exhibiting torsional rotation performance about a first axis related to a generally central line of the base part, bend rotating performance about a second axis orthogonal to the first axis, and linear-motion elastic performance along a third axis orthogonal to the second axis. A fingertip effector 3 provided on a tip end of the arm part in cooperation with a worker executes work on the workpiece. The base part is disposed at a position where an arm-part movable range MR accompanying rotation about the first axis and the second axis and linear-motion extension along the third axis overlaps a work area WAM by the worker at least partially.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
