Transport mechanism for chart of recording instrument - has chassis swingable out from instrument case with recess for delivery and winding up reels

The transport mechanism is for the chart or strip of a recording instrument. A pin roller drives the chart from a delivery reel, over a recording table and to a winding-up reel, connected to the pin roller through a friction coupling. A chassis swingable out from the instrument case connects all the transport mechanism components into a functional unit. It has two tray-like recesses under the plate forming the recording table, for the two chart reels. Opening of the recess - through which the delivery reel is inserted - faces the instrument inside, and the opening through which the chart is passed to the winding-up reel faces outward. A further hole in the area of the winding-up shaft end serves for the winding-up reel removal.
