The receptacle is for safety transformers of any shape, and is cast from a resin in the conventional manner and can be produced on a mass production basis. The dimensions can be obtained to a close tolerance, using the min. vol. of cast resin and at the same time complying with the relevant standard specification. It consists of a flanged section (15) with a hole (16) and a cage (11) of the appropriate shape attached. The cage has the appropriate guide slots for the transformer shape and two entries on the remote side of the flange. There is also an anchoring device (18) on the cage for a cable tension absorption clamp.
