<p>The tractor hitch has a bottom arm (1) supporting the coupling hook (9) which secures the attachment or the trailer. The hook and arm are lowered on chains for simpler coupling and are secured in the raised position by two safety hooks (6) to grip a crossbar (9c) through the coupling hook. The bottom arm is thus secured on both sides, for a strong and stable setting. The coupling jaw is closed by cam (32) which is swung aside when the towbar is twisted. This allows the coupling to disengage if the trailer tips, without pulling the tractor over.</p> |
