The multi-spindle head fits a numerically controlled machining centre or a multi-spindle special purpose machine, for fully automatic working. A housing clamps at a desired angular position, in an adapter plate. Individual eccentric spindles are set angularly using a vernier. The multi-spindle (3) housings (2) end (21) fits an adapter plate (4), driving shaft (5) aligned with the machine spindle's (10) axis (21a). Adapter indexing bushes (41) fit the machine's indexing pins (11). A catch (42) and shaft shoulder slot (51) engage to prevent angular displacement when the head is withdrawn.
