The winding roller for an awning or sunblind is a tubular sheet metal hollow unit, designed for easy attachment of the blind to the metal. A piece of sheet metal has its a butting edges interconnected by a fold (11). One edge (13) of a strip (12) is fixed in the fold, extending over part of the roller length (10). The other edge (14) protrudes from the fold, and has the awning material attached to it. The strip can be elastic, extending continuously almost from end to end on the roller. The awning material can be sewn, stapled or glued onto it. |
