Dosing valve for control of liquids to be mixed - esp. water and chemicals, e.g. for cleaning purposes

In a dosing valve for controlling the flow fo two liquids to the suction side of a pump in a desired ratio, the cross-sectional areas of the two passages for the liquids through the valve body can be varied in inverse proportion to one another. The valve is used esp. for the control of water and chemicals which are to be mixed in the pump, e.g. in high pressure cleaning equipment for cars, vessels, swimming pools etc. The previously applied precautions against dry-running of the pump are not required. The mixing is carried out at comparatively small negative pressures, enabling the flow rate of the chemicals to be more precisely controlled.
