<p>Folding box comprises side walls (2, 3, 4, 5) forming an inner chamber, a central wall (12) arranged in the inner chamber and aligned perpendicular to the base and the lid (6) and having a handle opening (15) close to the lid and handle parts arranged in the lid next to the central wall for accessing the handle opening in the central wall from the outside. An independent claim is also included for a blank made from a folding flat material for producing the folding box. Preferred Features: The lid has wall sections (6.1, 6.2) which hinge on two side walls (3, 5) lying opposite each other.
