<p>The eyelet attachment machine, used for fastening up web includes a combined punch and flanging tool (37) as well as an eyelet making tool (21) which is fed with strip material (15) from a loading mechanism (11). A conveyor mechanism (23) is also provided which automatically guides the eyelets (1) which have just been so made in the machine to the combined punch and flanging tool (37) which in one stroke punches a hole in the web and turns over the edges of the inserted eyelet. Since the eyelets are produced in the same machine there is no danger of the relevant mechanisms becoming jammed by mis-shapen or irregular sized eyelets.</p> |
