Zoom control for small camera - with sprung returns on zoom, distance and friction holds and hand control over rapid setting device

The zoom and distance controls of the small camera operate on spring loaded setting tags (202, 203) which are arranged to move the controls into a mean setting. The controls are held in their settings by a brake (204) which is slightly stronger than the return springs to allow simple manual setting. The hand control (207) overcomes the brake force to provide a rapid setting control with one hand. The system is ideal for a small hand held cine or still camera. The hand control is integral with a slit and symmetrical inclined surfaces on either side of the central studs of the setting tags.
