<p>The production continuous, and the laminations are first mechanically cut to the correct length. This is followed by punching holes in the proper positions. The laminations are then stacked to form a core. In this process the sheet strips are fed to the cutting station set to a specific programme. Laminations for the yoke and the shanks of different shape are obtained. The laminations are transported by the conveying system (10) with an input mechanism, which directs the variously shaped laminations to the appropriate stations. The differently shaped laminations are stacked and aligned on the continuous conveyor belt running to the core assembly station. The stacking station consists of two tiers and laminations are ejected from the upper to the lower tier in accordance to shape.</p> |
