The terrace type vending display stand comprises two step - shelved modules which either fit over one another for storage, or interlock with one another to form three or four step-shelved arrangements. The primary module (A) incorporates a slatted shelf which is split into two levers (3, 4) by a continuous transverse step (5). The stepped shelf (3, 4) spans between two vertical opposed end boards (2, 6) which project above and below to form kerbs and feet. A kerb wall is also provided at the step (5). The secondary module (B) is similar but lacks the head panel (2) and has slats (11, 12) which cantilever from the front wall (17). The cantilever slat (11) may pass through openings (10) in the toe wall (16) of the primary unit to form extended terrace shelving.
