THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity and dot reproducibility by constituting the present recording material by successively laminating an under coat layer containing fine hollow particles and a thermal color forming layer containing a specific ether compound to a support. CONSTITUTION:In a recording material containing an electron donating leuco dye and an electron acceptive compound, an under coat layer containing fine hollow particles is provided on a support and a thermal color forming layer containing a compound represented by formula (wherein either one of X and Y is an alkoxy group and the other one of them is a halogen atom) is further laminated to said under coat layer. The thermal recording paper thus obtained shows good developed color density even by low energy and can be also improved in dot reproducibility.
