Bicycle with treadle drive - has treadle turning rear wheel through planet gears and frame dismantling into three parts

The cycle consists of three detachable parts comprising of a front wheel forks, head stock and handle bars. The second part is a cross tube which joins the front wheel section to the rear wheel section. The rear wheel section consists of a rear fork whose two upper ends are joined by a saddle tube. An insert (12) carries the saddle (13). The lower ends of the rear forks carry the rear wheel which is driven by two treadle levers (16, 17). The front and rear cycle parts are joined to the cross tube ends by a locking system (20). The two treadle levers are rigidly fixed to ring shaped planet wheel bearers carrying three equally spaced planet wheels. The planet wheels mesh with a hollow wheel rim on one side and a sun wheel on the other side. Both planet wheel bearers form a rigid rear axle on which two hollow shafts turn.
