Remote adjusted exterior driving mirror - with orthogonal pivot yokes with separate servo motors driving cams through gearing

The exterior driving mirror is mounted on the support frame by two orthogonal pivot frames (20) which pivot the mirror about the two axes. Two electric servo motors (28, 56) are mounted on the frames, with their shafts parallel to the frame axes and operate the tilt of the frames by cams driven by pinions on the motor shafts. The whole assembly is simple and robust, with direct drive to the tilting frames. The control s by a joystick which controls the direction of either or both motors simultaneously for a simple operation.
