Method for constructing a geothermal storage heater is performed by laying plastic-elastic pipes with a low wall thickness corresponding to internal pressure underground. The pipes are filled with pressurised water while being laid, and even during operation are maintained at a pressure equal to pressure of the earth on the pipes. The pipes may be embedded in concrete casings of which the wall thickness is at least equal to the dia. of the pipes. Pref. the pipes are introduced through the hollow shaft of a conveyor screw for slightly damp concrete, and the screw outlet, which has the dia. of the desired concrete casing, leads into a furrow formed by a ploughshare. The heat from power stations in the summer and from solar energy can thus be stored for heating and hot water requirements of rooms and offices.
