A tooth brush has a shaft, on whose front end are two brush shanks where the shanks are opposite ina V-shaped manner and form a gap between them. Specifically, the shaft, at its rear end, is so curved to an arc (8) to the brush-carrying head (2 & 3) that the shaft end (10) and the middle of the two part head lie on a common axis X-Y (5). The fork transition (30) has a larger taper to the left and right at equal amounts of the shaft transition. The free ends of the shanks (2, 3) have a bevel (11) to the shaft side (10). Viewed from the working side of the brush shank the brush arrangement forms a rhombus such that four brush bundles (7) are arranged at the corner points (27) and then can be introduced at both shanks at different angles (33, 34).
