Device for coupling a pressure element (PE) to the end of a punch employed in a metal extrusion press, the novelty being the use of a first element (1) fixed on the end of the punch and provided with a seat recess for the mating portion of a mobile element (2) carrying the pressure element (PE); the mobile element can be moved radially to couple or release element (PE) but, when coupled, element (PE) is locked in the axial direction w.r.t the punch. The mating surfaces on elements (1,2) are pref. perpendicular to the axis of the punch. |
