The automatic weighing machine for use with circular slicers consists of a pan (9) into which the sliced material falls, which is carried on the loading beam of the weigher (8) running parallel with the slicer axis (3). The slicing machine is fixed to the weigher base via elastic mountings. The balance pan arm is attached to a vertical bar (7) which is attached at either end by swivel links (14) to another vertical bar (11) firmly fixed to the stand (5). The two bars form a lever parallelogram. In this way, loading of the pan causes the free bar to swing outwards and downwards to operate the weighing mechanism and indicator (6) placed over the end of the slicer.
