Carrier 5 comprises a cam (29), Fig. 4 (not shown) supported on the drive axle (27) and a follower (31) connected to the carrier 5 to axially move the carrier 5. The web is advanced around carrier 5 from a magazine roll 22 as the carrier 5 rotates, by engagement of a cam on roll 25 with a stop on the machine frame. The web is not advanced during contact with the master M. The image is applied to copy sheets with the aid of pressure roller unit 14.</p> |
